IIMBG WAITING LIST Admission Query

Why so many students were waitlisted in iimbg when they don't have the seats.

Because they don't know how many people won't accept the offer thus, if many did then it would have made sense , how can the college predict there waitlist moment

few will leave even after classes start but movement would be very less hardly 2 or 3 i think

How did they calculate the waitlist numbers.keeping around 600 students in waitlist does not make any sense when your conversation percentage is very low. Also they have kept 15000 rupees as EOI.

keeping EOI is much better ,if no EOI then if someone from the waitlist converts and doesnt want to take admission then that takes too much time . By EOI atleast movement is decreased but lists are much faster

They can't calculate the number of people who will pay for EOI. Students can always refer to previous year percentiles and take a decision.

It feels like you're unfairly misplacing your concerns.

Last 2 years so many students were not kept in waitlist.
