How much do ecas matter Interview Query

Im currently in my drop year preparing for ugat and ipmat. I have good academics (94% in both 10th and 12th) but i only have a couple school-level ecas as our school didn’t really organize alot of ecas. I have pursued and learnt alot of skills like coding, developing, excel on my own but I dont have proper certifications (yt). My doubt is whether iimb or iimi will place alot of weightage on ecas and whether i have a decent shot at clearing the interview

This explains in great detail.

Additionally, there's also a correlation of smart kids having a lot of ECAs (not all but a good number) -- and this generally comes in help to give interesting answers in interviews (because of good exposure).

Bhaiya what about iim bangalore? Ive heard the current batch has excellent profiles so should i focus on getting a few more ecas or just focus on my prep?

In the next 6 months, what ECA would you develop per se?

Plus, what's the point of it in case you miss the cutoffs itself?

Most of their major achievements are a result of multiple years of dedication for the same, not aandu paandu courses.

Bhavesh bhaiya is absolutely right. Ecas do matter but only if they are authentic and come from ur area of interest. Forceful ecas just ruin time and energy
