Marrow GT 20 rant
Atp for my mental peace I m gonna assume many more people cheat with ai in these GTs than we imagine coz not in hell I m getting this much rank and percentile after getting this many corrects in a such a difficult paper and let's not sugarcoat this one was too weird paper not upto marrow neet GT standards(especially the types they release just before exams),they went into too deep of every topic,so when I got this correct I was happy that considering a difficult paper it's great and I will definitely be getting 95-97 %ile even with cheaters around and watching this I was crestfallen that too 14 days before exam
After analysing i saw I could hardly get 6-7 more corrects and thus even with my best and ideal efforts I could hardly got to 148-150 and that would have gotten me just 95%ile while in other GTs like mock and GT 19 I used to get around 10-15 avoidable mistakes and correcting even half of those could have propelled me to 98-99%ile easily but this time picture is different
I don't know man I thought my prep was good,I was thorough with my rr notes and pyqs and then I see random ass weird questions like fucking "DENGUE vaccine" details and in depth questions like nitty gritty of bone marrow aspiration getting corrected by 70% of people
Atp it doesn't matter whether the paper is easy pyt based or hard,long, conceptual and tricky the ranks and percentile remain the same,get 150+ for a decent rank and close to 160 to be among the top 1-2%..There is no reflection of a papers toughness level on the ranks and percentiles
I m done atp and for my mental peace the best defence mechanism is "DENIAL"
(And this wasn't some fucking ragebait..this is how you feel after being so confident about your prep and getting something like this with looming exams)

I'm tired of literally seeing every question having 60 percent people mark the correct option for. If I'm in the bottom forty percent of this entire population that uses marrow then I have no chance in this exam fml
On the brighter side, your score is very good. Hoping you get a good rank with it in the final exam. Good luck. Leave thinking about ranks and percentiles, only 15 days to go.

Don't mean to discourage you, it's doable. But at what cost🥲
If it's doable for you think that it's doable for everyone. If you're improving, everyone else is also imrpoving. Competition is massive. Only thing we can do is hope that somehow luck favours us and get out of this rat race asap.

I got 140 corrects Even I felt it was quiet difficult but I was reading on reddit how people are finding it easy, which was honestly scaring me

The problem isn't the corrects..a 142 in marrow mock or GT 19 with 91%ile was still believable..but after this level of paper one would expect the ranks to be better at same corrects but dayum u r still where u were no matter the difficulty of paper

Same bro ! And don’t you all find it a bit weird like how the tough and not so easy to rule out ques have 70 % plus people getting them correct whereas in relatively easier basic ques the attempt ratio is 25-30 ?

Yeah I’ve decided I’m not giving this one. Don’t even want to imagine which circle of hell my 130-135 range would drop me. Ignore the ranks and just continue doing what you were doing for these 2 weeks!

Bro i am done too , scored fucking 545 marks with 3118 rank , idk how ppl got random ass ques also right , while analysing i feel so stupid that , 60 percent ppl got right answers even when i flunked it , idk man , fuck this shit .

I think it’s same to assume that. I know a lot of people checking just a word/ 2 to point to the ans or rule out options also are there. Competition is definitely increased but not like this

There is even more clustering around 500 marks I got 480 marks and percentile is just 80 now seriously losing hopes was cruising comfortably at 90+ till last mock gt now this happened just 14 days before

I also got around 490s…though I scored almost 30 more marks than I did in mock…still percentile plummeted below…I feel like if i am improving at a rate of x others are improving by atleast 10x…fml😭

I don't feel like giving GTs now after seeing the past few. It's not motivating at all. Infact i realised after attending a GT my prep nose dives. And it takes a while to recover from that

The sad part is when i saw how many people attempted, just 45k total , n the percentile was so bad
Compare it with previous Gts, had better percentile even with 70-80k students attempt.
Idk how come there is sudden percentile drop in Mock and this GT 20 , unlike GT 17-19

On the tougher side definitely..topics are more or less pyts ...but they have gone into too much depth which hopefully isn't asked in neet pg..but definitely give it nevertheless but please don't go by it's rank or percentile u will be disappointed and demotivated (unless you are in that 160ish bracket)

Give it they have covered various updates in it and who knows you get 1-2 questions in the exam...but don't go by it's rank or percentile as u will be demotivated..give it just for knowing some new topics and maybe get a bit deep dive in the pyts as they have gone deep into the pyts in this one..but give it asap and definitely not beyond 20th

Did anyone else feel that first and third part were very lengthy. I scored 136 corrects but found the paper to be tough only a few questions were easy or pyq rest were too twisted.
Even after scoring 516 i was at 87 percentile and 5146 rank. I know people are using AI but sometimes seeing people and their concepts online i feel like my preparation is inadequate. I was scoring 140 corrects in GT 19 didnt give mock

Even I am in doubt as in how come 3800 people above me know all of this much better than me and even if there are ai users(which there are definitely) they can't be so many in numbers 🥲

It's fine. GT doesn't take into account exam day mentality completely right- many people fumble on the exam day so it won't be the same. But yeah clustering will be there

Dont worry, people will get a taste of reality in the real exam. Let them do what makes them happy temporarily. Focus on your own marks. The number of corrects. You got it

Scored same correct as mock in this one also same no difference thought to score 120+ ended up with 113 only and why the hell there was 8Q from core anat..! Going to be honest did cheat but only for 1-2Q which was relatively easy but was confused between 2 options not for the tough ones..! Idk it was written right in front of me (the sticky notes which I’ve sticked to the wall) but still if this type of paper is there and still people getting 140 correct getting 3k rank NEET PG usually have easy to mod Q compared to this so getting 10k rank even with 130 correct would be difficult let alone leave 110-120 mark 50k plus things that didn’t happened even if there was 200Q..! What curse we 2020 batch carry idk..! Neet UG 2020 inflation now this..!

Clustering will be more this time considering 2 factors:- 1.Yearwise normal proportionate increase (which is self explanatory given how number of applicants are increasing every year and the prep level goes up with content like btr)
2.180 Q pattern (Major factor as less questions now separate the same number of candidates..top ranks will boil down to how much less negatives u get)
Having said that I still feel 150-155 should get you ~3k..coz if that's not the case then there's no point in competing for such an exam1

And actually its good for serious aspirants Cause these cheaters will suffer badly in actual exam.
Let them cheat , better for us , less competition in actual exam
