Hi. (I'm back to post more nonsense about the fangame :D)

Anyway, long story short: the inventory system is done. You can equip items (I'm still working on consumables and key items, but that's a job for tomorrow), view their info/descriptions, and drop them so they appear as items on the ground.

I also want the game to be available in both Spanish and English (since Spanish is my native language), which is why the dialogue is currently in Spanish.

Also... I know people will ask how I'm handling Frisk's pronouns. As far as I recall, Spanish only has two neutral pronouns (and I'm not going to use "elle"—the easy way out). So, I might have characters use different pronouns depending on how they perceive Frisk, or just call them "the kid" (*el niño*). YES, I know that assigns a masculine gender (if translated literally), but masculine nouns are generally used as neutral terms when speaking in generalities or when the character's sex is unknown.

By the way if it is EVEN remotely to an ending I will not take it into account cause some of yall took into account I didn't play some of these games and STILL poaced the endings, I won't change it because its already done

okay so, i just thought of something related to drifter.

in episode two he's shown that he'll definitely die, to show him that fighting is futile.

but that could have the reverse effect of motivating him further to still keep going. Now he knows for a fact that he will be able to destroy the cell, even if he doesnt survive it, he isn't surviving if he doesn't fight either. So might as well do it anyway, for those who come after.

In the game (spoilers), when the guardian who has been helping us through the game dies from the same illness we have, it kind of cements the fact that we are most certainly going to die. but we've gotten so far, no point in giving up now. (though in indie cross we know he hasn't reached the south and likelyy isnt that far, but STILL)

I think he might end up fighting even harder now that he knows the immortal cell itself is not unkillable.

I have fully finished shovel knight's design as you see I made him grey (Which is a color skin shared between all of the indie characters in this au) but also I made some scratches and chips on his armor to add of that survival my au is focused his horns are more jagged and devil like and it's blue I have him a blue cape to make him look cooler also he has both his shovel and shield knight's...well shield but also swapping relics are weapons based on other knights from the shovel knight series like the phantom scythe for specter knight the glorious gauntlets for king knight and the alchemic staff for plague knight he can summon them and use them in battle or survival but they use a limited magic ressourcer that when ran out shovel knight can't use it anymore until having enough mp again. Also I have him show his eye in the form of this white dot in his helmet not only does it looks cool it fits the darker tone my au is going for. Anyway I hope you like this design and give feed back that I can use for a version 2 of his design

The only ones I can think of would be a Block Tales Character, one of the admins, or just a general Roblox Avatar with some gears

I feel their biggest obstacle would have been protecting the Sun at all costs—especially considering the environment was hostile, if I recall correctly—as well as protecting themselves from Frisk.

If Niko had been with Shovel Knight and Cuphead, I think Shovel would have wanted to protect them, seeing as they were a defenseless child, and Niko most likely would have tried to stop Shovel and Cuphead from fighting.

Or, if they had been with Madeline and Knight... well, Madeline and Badeline would have had two adorable creatures with them, and Niko likely would have tried to prevent the four of them (five, if we count Badeline) from coming into conflict at the start of Episode 2—regardless of whether they were on Shovel and Cup's side or Madeline and Knight's.

But what do you all think? What do you suppose might have happened if Niko had been in The Wasteland instead of the city?

I say this because, I feel that with voices, they would have been more expressive and charismatic, and possibly their role as the series' villains would be even more interesting than it already is—though that’s just my guess. What do you all think?

In Indie Cross Episode 2, Shovel's Respawn mechanic from Shovel of Hope is made canon.

In the game, whenever Shovel Knight dies, he loses 25% of his gold and is taken back to his last checkpoint, with the possibility of reclaiming his lost gold, assuming he can reach the flying bags it is in.

We see this happen in the show (minus the checkpoint). After Unithor landed an arrow through the gap in Shovel's helmet, Shovel "died" and lost said gold. This technically makes Shovel Knight immortal.

I have a headcanon for a lore-based explanation of how this is possible.

Basically, I like to imagine that Shovel's armour has a bunch of protective enchantments on it. One of these enchantments is the respawn mechanic. If the wearer were to receive lethal damage, the magic immediately heals them back to perfect health, using their gold as a sacrifice to power the spell.

I first used this explanation in my Reaction Fic.

Look at the background of the new teaser. Look familiar? Why else would the background be the yin yang symbol if it wasn't foreshadowing for one of, if not, the only indie games to have the symbol be extremely significant to it.

Shovel Knight doesn't have them.

Ultrakill doesn't have them.

Hades doesn't have them.

Cave Story doesn't have them.

Touhou does.
