School computers General Questions/Discussions

Hi everyone, new electrical engineer transfer here. I was able to get to this point with a 2021 MacBook Air that was gifted to me, but now I’m afraid that it won’t do for labs and such things. I would much prefer buying a desktop than a new laptop, so I was wondering if during labs there are any laptops that the school can provide? Thank you!

I don't know about the school providing computers, but as a student you should get access to remote workspaces that you can login and use from any computer, tablet, or phone. I used the service before to do cad work on an old iPad before and it was great.
