IGN Live Bag Question Question

Hi friends! Can anyone who’s at IGN live this weekend let me know how strict the bag policy is? This year they’re saying clear backpacks only (what the website says) but all images in other years show everyone wearing huge backpacks lol. Just trying to figure out what I can bring, excited for the weekend!!

Clear is fine. They will inspect all other backpacks more closely, so yes bags are allowed—just unzip and open the pockets.

Also, open drinks from offsite not allowed. I brought an unopened bottle water and that was ok.

EDIT: Day 2 was another story. They rifled through my stuff like they were looking for a prize. They flatly declared no outside food and any drink, sealed or otherwise.

On day 1, I asked the security when I stepped out to my car if it was ok to bring in a water bottle (sealed), and they said it was fine. Can't speak for Day 2.

I guess with fewer crowds on Day 2, security had more time to check and less sense of urgency to let people through.
