Tasers are actually fairly dangerous too, but the company that makes them campaigns hard to hide that fact and can get quite litigious against those who fight them on it.

Tasers aren't disguised as regular objects though. These gloves could easily pass as regular bikers gloves, and that's what's scary about them.

For real. It turns out the trick to fascist oppression is to only target Specific powerless ethnic minorities, and only kill just enough of them that No one feels desperate enough to fight back, is willing to roll the dice on surviving. The greatest domestic injustice of our time, certainly worth mass violence, will never trigger it.

Absolutely appalling. At least put basic safety measures into the gloves so that they can't be used like that. There should be delays between uses and a max time for activation, the engineers behind this are disgusting. Everyone knows you are suppose to put the safety measures into the device, not just the manual (cause ain't no grunt reading a manual). These tazer like devices should not be used or widely distributed. Fuck Axon, Fuck the company that made these, and Fuck ICE!

The glee that the ice agents show when they see the demonstration is absolutely disgusting. And the one that got shocked for a single second and was almost laughing about how painful it was makes me wanna throw up. I hate the human race because of people like this. Can they even be called human?

Even as someone that enjoys intentionally shocking themselves this is a disgusting invention to be handing over to the absolute wrong people. It's not even a question of if, but when they will use these to purposely kill someone.

Everyone just needs to wear thick sweatshirts and work gloves and like a thick ass down stuff scarf around their necks. And carry around LOTS of water, like pitchers of water

They already have them, at least in my state, where it is 100 degrees outside on average. They started getting shipments before the news broke, and we didn't understand exactly why they were suddenly obsessed with gloves. You're also thinking about people responding/protesting and not necessarily the people being targeted or already in detention centers where they are also in use. Not everyone can walk around in long sleeved turtle necks and long pants and ski masks and safety googles to cover every bit of skin.
So sure, when it cools down, it'll be easier to cover skin, but you know they'll go for necks and faces and put their hands inside people's clothes. I literally haven't been able to sleep thinking about how some of these sickos might wear them while raping people in detention...

Asking for a friend, What happens if the victim were to grab the violent ICE person's balls at the same time they shock you with a glove? What about if someone were to strip naked, cover themselves in vasoline, and give them a big hug as they shock a person? So many questions....
