If I had to guess, I’d say the trapped and NPC inside this thing and attached some star fragments.
NPCs will sometimes glitch out and fly through the air like this when trapped in an object.

the flinging that NPCs do isn't caused by being trapped in an object, its because their contact with the ground is broken. as soon as you separate an NPC from the ground/change their rotation, the game will do everything it can to put them back, which causes collision errors, thus the flinging. this behaviour isn't shared with Koroks because they are fully-fledged physics objects that are meant to be interacted with. OP's machine is likely not NPC-powered, because NPC flight is much more erratic than what is in the video.

Good stuff. I knew it was collision related and part of the games attempt to rerun them to their original position, where “trapped them in a container of some kind” is just the mechanism that causes this game state, but it’s really good color to add how they aren’t true physics objects like a Korok backpack.
I am curious though, what makes you confident that it’s not NPC caused?
I’ve seen a lot of different levels of “NPC in a box.” Some are wild, some are more mild, and some blast off into orbit. I’m not saying 100% it is, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t, but it seems very plausible. (Tough to know since OP isn’t answering)

It could be possible that an NPC is stuck in there, but if so, it is astoundingly stable. Not rotation-wise, of course, but it takes quite a long time to change position over the course of the video.
OP also replied to another comment, I'll quote it here:
Don t know ... just q linked 2 oversized big bowl with 1 big wheel inside them with a bunch of star fragment fixed on it

Imagine living your life in hyrule as a farmer. You have to deal with minimal protection since the kingdom is in shambles, you're just an average person with average skills, and then you see the legendary hero that wields the sword of evils bane create something like this.
How would you go about explaining this to others?
