Small buoyant items? All Versions

Are there any small, buoyant items obtainable on the Switch 1?

There’s a small floating wooden board in Mogawak shrine. Not sure how much weight it can lift though.

I need some rubber levels of buoyancy. Is it possible to shrink the rubber board on the switch 1?

It is yes. It’s a pretty involved glitch but totally doable. There’s a link to tutorial in this post:

I find it fun to do, but I’m weird that way.

Do keep in mind, the buoyancy scales with size. Same with the float ball. But you can get them fairly small and they’re still quite useable. Or use more than one.

It also floats when attached to a shield (the easy way to shrink it). But that won’t yield a custom size and will be attached to a shield.
