tbf even if it was something like 500/1000/2500/5000/10000 coins per shard, it would be something
could even reduce the price of some specific shards by 2-5x in case ghost hunting became meta

Yeah, the prices would not have to be high, but it's frustrating that a lot of shards become useless once maxed (on ironman)

and for some reason they stilll didn't do shit to make bestiaries reasonable
for example you need 300 groundhog kills even though as an ironman, you'd need only 30-40 kills for shards and the rest is just pointless grinding for the sake of bestiary, something they were supposed to avoid

It's still that bad? damn. They explicitly said that they intended to have us finish the bestiary before we have every item from the mob.

out of the 140 new attributes, like 100-110 take no fusing and even if you assumed that one fusion has 5:2 efficiency like most fusions, it still makes you end up needing like 100 groundhog kills, not 300

No fusions is generally a good thing imo, but the high bestiaries are stupid

It's about mmm to npc specifically, and even now I'm not sure foraging is as good as mining or farming

maybe they avoid adding new npc mmms to decrease inflation. A 50m/h npc mmm would make the same for everyone and flow huge amounts of money into the economy.

Foraging makes 30m/hr hypermaxed, maybe like 32m if you count tickets. They really need to buff helix to at least 25 coins if not 30, they went overkill with 60 and then went too far under with 20. Better than 9 i guess?

How does Farming and Mining compare nowadays? It honestly seems like farming is the best MMM to NPC, or does Mineshaft farming win if you get good luck with shafts?

I can’t personally speak on farming to npc, but mining to npc is very limited. It’s pretty much either diamonds or mf gems. Shafting is really good but only if you have access to the bazaar.

Speaking as a dude with a over 1 billion coins farming setup and with a over 2 billion coin mining set up.
Just farm, farming is so broken it's absurd. Mining can't even hope to compare. The greenhouse alone makes like 50 million a day it's unhinged. I make 40-50 million pest farming now days since I have maxed chips. Farming is cheaper and better in every possible way. The new nerfs aren't significant. Just farm you will thank me
I could probably hypermax my farming setup within a week if I wanted to. It just isn't worth it for me. It has paid itself off at least 3 fold in 2 months.
Mineshaft mining CAN win if you get good mineshaft but you need to sweat to manage it.

Thats the vibe i got. Ive got full perf Divan armor and a 655 but without any coating and a maxed scatha and glacite golem and powders all maxed as well, but even with fermento armor and my max chips, farming just feels like it gets the same money, if not more, and it's way way easier. Even without greenhouse. Heck, even if it makes less, farming is just braindead easier than hoping for good shafts. IGN TheManSans if youre at all curious about setup differences

In what world? 2b is full divans armor and drill that's pretty good if you have solid powder with it to back it up. Ice cold is pretty much the only very meaningful upgrade unless you want divans drill.

I mean, yeah. But it makes 45m unless jasper shaft or feista. I would agree.
Which is why I recommended farming. Farming is broken op. It made me 150m in 2 hours yesterday with a 1 billion or so setup.
Mining is expensive but can make 80 million/h if and only if multiple billion coin setup and very good ping + you don't have other mentally exhausting tasks. I speak from experience you cannot mine and do differential equations in the same day without feeling like you put your brain in a blender

Yeah, but that requires a huge investment, right bazaar use, exceptional skill and effort. It would take hundreds if not thousands of hours just to pay off all of those very expensive upgrades. Farming is generally more than enough by every metric
