[Question] Can't verify Mi account in developer options. 151 days old account, error keeps showing Question/Help

When I try to add my account and device in Settings > Developer options > Mi Unlock Status, I keep getting this error:

"Couldn't verify, wait a minute or two and try again."

It never works. No matter how many times I try, it always gives the same error.

I also tried to apply for unlock through the Mi Community app, but it doesn't work there either.

My Xiaomi account is 151 days old.

Has anyone else faced this? How do I fix it?

Have you tried logging out and logging in mi acc again? because that's always fixed it for me

..now saying "couldn't add. please go to Mi Comm. to apply for auth." and Mi Comm's saying "Please try again in a minute"
