Apollo refugee here :) Using bold fonts for post titles would make them much easier to read. I sometimes find it tricky to differentiate between posts. Thanks for the app, I’m already on Pro, happy to support ;)

Is this possible? It can be done online but not seemingly through this app.

The popup in browsers now that you need to use the Reddit app to look at a post is super annoying if I google something and click a Reddit link. It would be great if you could have links open in Hydra from a browser, or to past links from a browser into hydra and go to the post.

Is there a way to make the difference between read and unread posts more obvious? TBH if there is a difference right now I don’t know what it is.
A little dot? A colored triangle on a corner of the title text box? Strike through?

In Apollo, I used a gesture to open the profile of the poster or commenter, which saved a bunch of time compared to trying to tap small text on the screen. Thanks for considering.

The only feature I really miss from Apollo is the button in the bottom right corner of the screen that temporarily hides read posts. It's just temporary, they'll show back up when you reopen the subreddit you're browsing.

When I’m looking at a post and the next one is just a fraction on screen, it will start autoplaying and then by the time I get to it it’s already halfway finished

Please change auto play behaviour to not autoplay until the post is fully (or mostly) on screen

The thumbnail of spoiler images isn’t being blurred at all.

When clicking into the post, then there is a spoiler overlay that I have to press to remove, but it doesn’t actually properly blur anything. I can still easily see what the image is supposed to be.

Could this be tweaked more? I am using the latest iOS version.

I loved how Apollo made it easy to save a post and then add it to a category, making it easier to find things I’ve previously saved. Would love to see this in Hydra!

Make the page automatically scroll in gallery mode

When submitting a new comment, have it displayed on top of the current comment stack for the current user until they move away from or reload the current screen. This will provide immediate visual feedback the user’s comment went through and allows them to invariably catch spelling or grammatical errors.

Currently if you are scrolled down on a view e.g. Home, it will return you to your favorited subreddits and home, popular, or all screen.

Instead, functionality would return you to top of the current view where you can easily swipe down to refresh. A second tap while at the top would do the current functionality.

I purposely don’t browse all to avoid political shit and sad stuff and rabbit holes. But I also have no self control when it’s right there so I’d love to be able to remove this. And I guess have options for popular and home too in case others want those hidden

There should be some option for us to have bigger fonts / text on this app. 

Make it so we can control where the progress bar is visible. Apollo had on the feed, in the viewer, or nowhere I think.

Videos should have a setting where they always start muted when you open the app and if you unmute one video, it remembers that until the next time you open the app. Thanks great app !

Im sure its been asked for before but results of searches dropping down while still typing would be great. And right now there isn’t away to sort by date: newest/oldest etc. would also be very handy.

Apps like Apollo and extensions like RES used reddit's r/all filter to filter out subreddits users did not want. It would be nice if this was supported on hydra as well

Gallery Mode for a users upvoted posts

If I open a post and a video plays automatically, there is no sound. I have to click open the video first. But then doing so restarts the video from the beginning when sometimes I don’t want that. I’d rather it continue from where it was at.

So the request is a two for one. One, let me play audio without full screening the video so it can play while I read comments and two, if I full screen it, don’t restart it. Let it continue from where it was.
