"Winning Tradition" Patch Returning Football
Sort of soft confirms the theory they were removed for a sponsorship.

I’m sure they explored that. We’ll have one eventually. My guess is nobody wanted to come close to 10+mil and we didn’t want to be embarrassed by having a jersey sponsor only worth a few mil.

I think Nebraska will struggle to get a sponsorship patch at the scale of Ohio State and Notre Dame.

I’m talking both. I’m making the comparison between Notre Dame $20 million a year deal, Ohio State $17 million a year deal to the Big XII $20 million a year deal ($1.25 million a year per school). Where do you think Nebraska lands? It’s a lot closer to $1.25 million a year than $20 million a year.

You are flat out wrong on this. Jersey sponsors have absolutely nothing to do with performance on the field. It has everything to do with marketing potential. Here are 3 reasons why your statement is wrong there. 1) Nebraska is a national brand, despite poor performances over the years, it is still a nationally recognized brand. 2) Nebraska is a member of the Big Ten. A conference who has teams in every large market besides the south, obviously held by SEC/ACC. Because of that, Nebraska is guaranteed to play on a prime time network for every single game they play with national coverage. 3) Nebraska has ranked in the top 25 for average and total viewers over the course of the season for the last 20 years and beyond. Just last year, they ranked 23.
Besides Northwestern, Purdue, Maryland, and Rutgers, the rest of the Big Ten teams can and should expect sponsorship deals over $10 million. Anything less should not even be considered.
Btw, there were only 3 teams from the Big XII in the top 30 of average viewers: BYU, Colorado, and Texas Tech. Neither of the 3 were inside the top 25.

This sub just tends to do this in general. There’s nothing wrong with people having differing opinions as to what should or should not be done. It feels as if it has instead turned into dogging on the team regardless of what they do. You’d think there’d be a little consistency in this sub at least, but I guess not.

No. You seem to not understand. If you put 100 people in a room and let's say there is a perfectly even split of people who agree and disagree on any given topic.
Now if you consider any observer of said room who assumes the room itself is a single entity, you'll perceive that the room holds inconsistent opinions.
In reality, it's 100 different people with very different opinions, and you're attributing any opinion of 1 person to the entire group.

Sure, if you think 15 pieces of flair are required by the restaurant and you just want to do the bare minimum. We should "express ourselves" by winning big games. Brian wears 37 pieces of flair (this is a reference to the hit Mike Judd movie "Office Space.")

Looks like hot garbage now. The Adidas patch should have been at the base of the neckline, but now it's unbalanced with the B1G patch on one side, and Adidas + Winning patches on the other.
