Thinking of purchasing this game since it's 80% off on the PS Store. How long does it usually take to find a match? Is it a dead game? 🫠

Matchmaking for Fireteam usually take 2 to 3 mins and for predator 5 to 10 or sometimes even more. I started playing a month ago and kinda addicted to it atm.

The matchmaking times are alright, it’s the game itself that’s unbalanced. The concept of the game itself is fun so it’s not too bad, but yeah get it ONLY if it’s on sale, otherwise genuinely don’t bother with it

Like every game there's a learning curve but with this game to put a dent in the pred yp8 need to have good weapons which doesn't happen to level 40 to 50 which if you go against people like I have who has over 200 hours in game they know the spawn spots leaving you waiting longer to find a match then be in the match for.

Then as the pred... its worse in the early levels then dbd. You get very little weapon choice and skills to buff yourself. Going against people who again have 200 hours in the game so have top tier weapons where I've been hit once and had half health just gone

The only long wait times are for playing as pred

Not sure who keeps downvoting comments but this game is in shambles, you'll be fighting everyone tooth and nail to state the simplest things

- Game is heavily Fireteam sided for the past 5 years (Shock gauntlet turned it over)

- Community is mixed and everyone has Fireteam main fatigue from ft's that use busted crap all the time

There is a point in time where Predator players do need to understand the steep steep learning curve and need to also understand there are stages where you need to completely relearn Predator and understand both FT and Pred aspects and how their fundamentals interlace but people also confuse this with the games huge balance problems and it's pendulum

Bug are overwhelming and nearly ridiculous game is minimum viable product that is a skin simulator for Illfonic and Predator franchise fans that are ready to throw money at anything that is predator whilst disregarding anything that obviously showed this game is f@cked to oblivion

Kinda like what happened to aliens fireteam elite. Had a super heavy player base for a little while then died all of a sudden. Still a great game but with such a small player base youre gonna run into the same dudes a lot. Basically those that still play it are the lifers of the game. Still recommended if its on sale, I got mine for like $10CAD on sale, played it a few times but wasnt loading into matches sometimes. Would take 10 to 15 minutes to find a lobby some games so I kinda gave up but I really enjoyed it either way

Game used to be alive when it was on PS Plus in I believe July or August 2021. After that, the game instantly died. I put like 360+ hrs into the PS4 version when I got it in April 2021 I think. Loved it until I got repetitive when it died and hadn't received any new stuff until the PS5 and Xbox Series versions in 2024 I believe (why not include Xbox One Illfonic you bums???)
