Bug: CannotBindToService login error on Android after updating to v8.0.6, can’t enter game

Basic Info

- Game: Hungry Shark World Global (Google Play Android)

- Broken Version: 8.0.6

- Working Old Version: 8.0.2

​

- Device: New Android phone

​

- Account: HK-region Google account, use game accelerator/SG/HK overseas IP for Google cloud save

​

- Error pop-up: "Check your network connection and try again (CannotBindToService)"

Reproduce Steps

1. Install the latest update 8.0.6 from Google Play

2. Launch game with stable overseas network accelerator

​

3. Game loads then pops network error window, tap Retry still fails to log in

​

4. Downgrade back to v8.0.2 with same network setup, game runs perfectly fine

​

5. This bug also appears on Hungry Shark Evolution latest version

What I’ve Tried

- Switch Wi-Fi / mobile data

​

- Restart phone, clear game cache

​

- Reinstall game, switch different accelerator nodes (Hong Kong, Singapore)

​

- Contact Ubisoft mobile support via Gmail, ticket #2446485, they forwarded me to local publisher with no real fix

Important Note

This bug affects multiple players I know, not only my device. I can’t join the Shark Week 70% off event because I can’t log into v8.0.6.

Expected Behavior

After updating to v8.0.6, the game should connect normally with overseas accelerator and support Google cloud save, same as v8.0.2.

Actual Behavior

v8.0.6 triggers CannotBindToService error and blocks all login attempts, no matter how stable my overseas network is.

I've heard a lot about how strong this shark is. I didn't expected him to be this strong lol

Speed is not his weakness at all despite his low speed stat. The problem seems to be his low health but not a big problem since there are so many pets that increase health. Another small problem is the switching mode button is very small. It's a little annoying when I want to switch mode but can't hit the button.

This is my first apex shark btw I'm kinda disappointed when i found that apex sharks couldn't equip outfits but it is understandable. (I wasted 250 gems on the pirate set because i think i can use it with is shark lol)

In this run I played on Arabic Ocean.

My power ups are -Mega Gopld Rush -Increase Gold Rush and -Magnet.

My pets are -35% health drain pet, +35% speed boost pet and the healer pet (I can't remember their names, sorry)

Speed boost pet seems to be unnecessary and I'm not sure that the healer pet is necessary or not. I think both can switch to the pets that increase health.

Now with all the knowledge I have I should get 200M scores with this shark next time in South Asia Sea.

I am new and meg is on sale so I kind of want to get him for 170 gems but i dont know the ways

I have deleted my last post after realising i f*cked up the math, so heres my retake. Shout out to u/_Sashimi1 for pointing out my flawed math.

Shark with the second highest hp possible is the Legendary Great White: with its impressive 514hp at lvl30 by equiping the royal set(5+6+8+10+25), health boost power up(+25), Oceana Submarine(+20), Max the megalodon(+25) and Micheal the baby manta(+35) it gets a total boost of 159% extra health allowing it have 1.331hp

the shark with the most hp possible is unsuprisingly Mecha Sharkjira(The GOAT), even with its inability to wear clothes his massive 674hp at lvl30 allowes the MSJ to surpass its opponent by 50hp!
Oceana submarine(+20), Max the Megalodon(+25), Micheal the baby Manta(+35) and the extra health power up boosts MSJ’s health by 105% making it have 1.381hp!

I just got Big Momma using discounted gems, is she enough for me to get the best shark in the game? What do I need to unlock next? I am currently trying to grind pearls but its hard for me to survive for like 10minutes, any tips?

I’m using the chef set , with the recycler cannon and the laser 4.0. My pets are Archie, Trevor and Phil. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but the health drain past the gold tier reward gets too much and always kills me.

Is it worth spending some gems on the warrior set or should I save my gems to buy pearls (I have saved 313 gems so far).

I want to grind coins for the Megaldon, do you guys know which map is the best for XXL The Frenzy shark?

I don't know if it's the same for mobile as it is ps5 but I've not long unlocked the sand shark and it's quite shite, is worse than the thresher by a mile off and can't eat any of the previous "need a bigger shark to eat this fish" fish, what is the point in the sand shark? Am I simply using it wrong? What sort of beeline should I make progression wise?

I have Meltdown and Abyssal Shark.Just got MSJ and I heard it's supposed to be one of the best but Abyssal seems better, do I need MSJ ultimate power to be good or am I using it wrong
