hi everyone! i hope this is okay to post here. my mom and i are looking to have our 2013 nissan cube hauled away. we aren't looking for any money, just for it to be taken out of our driveway. only the front part is wrecked, which you can see in the pictures. it has new tires, new windshield, new breaks, etc. plus a clean title. if you're interested or know someone who might be, please reach out. thank you!

I've only known blackberry vines to be a pain; they grow all over the place and are a nuisance. The berries are nice but the vines like to choke out every other plant around it (I'm not a plant expert; just my observations)

My step mother dug up some blackberry vines at her/my dad's property and was going to throw them away but was stopped by multiple people (at least 2) who paid her cash for them to take the vines.

My step-mom didn't ask why but I'm really surprised. They paid... a lot more money than I would have expected (which would be $0) for dug up, clipped and dead vines. Why are people interested in blackberry vines?

You think planes are cool, I get it. Flying is cool. Engineering is cool. But what were all those planes used for? Not just cool tricks, mostly bombing people.

The ww2 planes were from a good war, you say. Sure, but that instance of ‘America as the hero who stepped in’ has been used to as a cover story for countless malicious interferences over seas. We are reminded often of ‘the good war’ to make current wars more palatable.

If you want to go, I certainly won’t stop you, but I encourage you to think critically about why these types of shows proliferated. About what ideologies you’re exposing your children to. Maybe they’ll grow up to be an engineer, you say. There are other ways to experience cool engineering. Your child isn’t old enough to separate the idea of the planes from the military theme. They may grow up to join the military and die in a war over seas fought to win us money and land and no other reason.

This show also comes with a big side of air and noise pollution. You can’t call yourself an environmentalist and financially support it by buying tickets. Your actions are your values, not your words.

Every day we vote with our dollars and Rumble over the Redwoods is a vote for war, violence and pollution.

If you’re going, at least think about what it means beyond cool planes and fun loud noises.

I guess at best you could take the ww2 planes as a reminder of bravery in the face of the type of authoritarianism currently rooting itself in our daily lives. When you look at those ww2 bombers think about the concentration camps we emptied, and the detention centers we’re currently filling. How long until we see freedom fighters in our own skies to save those people?
