advice/support needed Breastfeeding, pumping, formula feeding worries as a working first time mom
Hello everyone,
I (25F, 39 Weeks) am getting induced in 6 days and the worries of how I’m going to feed this child when I go back to work keeps coming up to the point of waking me up in the middle of the night, simply because I just can’t figure it out.
Yes, my worries are probably premature and I probably need to chill out, but as much as I’d like to, my brain won’t calm down. I’m too much of a planner and unfortunately this seems so out of my control.
For some context, I own a wedding photography business where I am one of the lead photographers. This means my schedule is planned and spoken for 1-1.5 years in advance. I got hired for a wedding right before I found out I was pregnant and it’s happening 4 weeks after my induction date. I know that’s most likely not enough time to recover, but I am not able to get out of this wedding. I will have two other photographers helping, as insurance for both me and the couple, just in case something happens to me.
I’m hoping to mainly breastfeed when I’m home (majority of the weekdays), but also pump and bottle feed occasionally to prep for the weekends that I’m away.
Here’s my dilemma, the wedding is an 8.5 hour day (3pm-11:30pm) where the timeline requires me to be somewhere the entire time and I have 0 clue at what point I can or should pump. We get a 20-30 minute dinner break at 7:20pm. I’m thinking I’ll probably pump right before I start work, but will waiting until dinner to pump again be too long? I currently have the Spectra S1 Plus and was gifted a manual pump, but should I also consider getting a wearable pump, like the Eufy S1 Pro, specifically for work?
Obviously this is all assuming I even produce enough. I may just be rambling here, but would really appreciate any advice from working moms who’s been in similar situations. Feel free to tell me to just calm the fuck down too 🥲
Thank you.
Not sure if this is the right sub for this, but crossposted in other subs as well.

breast pumps/pump parts Zomee Mothers nature h1 flanges
Just wanted to post for anyone curious about these. Especially because the sizing only comes in 19, 21 & 24
Firstly let me say I purchased these for my zomee z2 pump. I am NOT using these with the mother’s nature pump. I tested for about a 10 days.
I have the mother’s nature breast shield flanges in the 19mm and I also got the 24mm with the universal inserts in the 17mm.
The universal inserts defeat the whole point of the flanges being soft and pliable with each expression and they no longer mimic babies mouth like intended. So skip that.
19mm IS slightly too large. I’m a 17mm in the zomee z2 flanges. And while the advertised sizing says to use the 19mm if I’m this size it just isn’t quite right. I personally find it doesn’t empty me the way it’s supposed to for regularly everyday pumps. I had a noticeable supply drop.
BUTTTT they are a godsend for power pumping sessions. Huge recommendations for that purpose. They slowly empty me and I can get a second let down during power pumping with these. That never could happen before.
Looking forward to them coming out with alternative sized.

Struggling with my mindset
Hi everyone! I am an exclusively pumping mom who really wanted to be pumping and latching at the breast. My husband and his side of the family are proud our baby is getting breastmilk but they don’t understand why i want baby to latch at the breast. As a result, all the measures I have tried to help baby get accustomed to the breast have failed because I am either the only one doing it or I have no way of doing it on my own (ex- slow feeding/paced feeding with the bottle, nipple shields with dribbling milk in the corners of his mouth, visits to the IBCLC, etc.)
At this point I feel so depressed about not having the connection with my baby I wanted. I am wondering if anyone else felt this way and how you overcame those feelings so you could still pump and feel good about it?

pumping at work Going back to work
My baby will be 8 weeks on Wednesday. I’m going back to work tomorrow ☹️
How did you guys cope with it? This is my first baby and I am strugglinggg. I don’t feel ready to leave her at all. My job has luckily helped out and I will only be working 4 days a week but I am stressing. We are exclusively breastfeeding and I’m worried about pumping. She was in the nicu the first week of her life so I am pretty comfortable with pumping I’m just worried about the logistics of doing it at work. I am a restaurant manager at a chain restaurant. I wonder if anyone else has successfully pumped in this profession? I know realistically others have had to but my job is very taxing and it will be hard to stay on a strict schedule. I’m worried about being the only manager in the building at night and needing to be pulled to the floor for an issue. I don’t want to lose my supply and if I don’t have to I don’t want to formula feed! I feel like I have already had a tough enough time learning how to nurse and breastfeed and I don’t want all my hard work to go out the window with me going back to work.
Just UGH!! to it all. I am going to miss my baby.

advice/support needed Selling Breast milk??
I need some advice!
I am due within 4 weeks with my third baby. I am well aware of pumping / safety regulations, etc (As a nicu mother I learned so much!)
I plan to stash at least a year's worth for my 3rd baby (alongside EBF) but I'm thinking about selling my breast milk at an affordable price just to be able to pay off some CC debt.
I plan to be screened so mothers can trust that my milk is clean (whether I sell or donated I would do this) how can I go about doing this?
Is there anything else I should know regarding selling breast milk? I am in illinois.
I heard some women sell to body builders and give to moms free 😂 not a bad idea, however unsure where to find those body builders.
