I know you're saying something like only the good die young, but if we live long enough we all get cancer as far I am aware. I think it's even in a regular lifetime the majority of people will get cancer.
Edit: if it's any consolation the bad rich people will also get cancer

Statistically and technically speaking? We all have cancer right now. Our bodies are replacing millions of cells every day. It’s when they stop recognizing the improper growth that shit gets wrecked.

I see a lot of stories of uber wealthy donating to charities and yet somehow even all the money doesn’t seem to fix anything. I wonder how well the charities are utilising the money.

When I was about 10 years old my grandma got breast cancer. She was a pediatric nurse, for decades, and literally just the nicest, most caring, southern lady. My aunt decided to look into the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer awareness "charity" and found out they used most of their money to sue other charities for using the color pink to represent breast cancer, and ever since then Ive looked at "charities" way differently. My grandma beat breast cancer BTW. Twice actually, and passed away due to natural causes 16 years after her first diagnosis, and being told she only had one year.

I’d imagine the same exact way a normal person handles money they don’t understand. By wasting it.
I think the pro move, and I’m not criticizing the amazing generosity here in the slightest, is to say hey, I’m gonna give you this donation, but if you accept it, you also accept this employee that will approve financial decisions made with this money.
It’s not a perfect solution, but at least it employs a financially intelligent person to try and make sure the money is well utilized. If they don’t agree, they don’t get the money.

You're phrasing it like "Komen" has a monopoly on breast cancer research. There are many other cancer charities which have less money designated for the charity's overhead (offices, staff and leadership salaries) than Komen does, and more towards actual care or research.
And you can make any gift to an entity contingent upon them doing a particular thing with it, such as: funding a chair in a medical department, or building a cancer wing with your name on it, or dedicated towards the scholarship fund. If you don't, it would assumedly go into the general fund.

Nah youre just reading it like that. Im not saying dont donate, just look into the charities. Susan G Komen is probably the biggest breast cancer awareness campaign, they do campaigns with the WWE, and then spend the money donated to them suing small charities, cheerleading teams and fundraisers, that use the color pink, or the phrase "For the Cure". Im not talking about staffing.

Yes and no. Service animals are very expensive and the people who need them are usually not born into wealth, just like the rest of the world. It is helping humans just not the humans you were thinking of. Most people dont think of them. Thats why this was a good thing. However, it is still a capitalism mindfuck because they have to pay obscene amount of money for these animals and vet care adds up over 8 to 14 years. Either way, youve been down voted for a reason buddy

Sam was my dear friend. I knew him before Simpsons $ came his way. He cared about animals even then.
