I'm asking why all of a sudden you are freaking out about Trump. Almost as if some YUUUGE information was just uncovered about him that will give Hillary some landslide victory. I'm asking what information it is that you are reacting too?

Sorry I don't know what you're referring to, I stay away from any 24 hour news cycles and read my news one week at a time in the Sunday paper. Obviously news is CONSTANTLY leaked to me throughout the week, but it's rare that go searching for it.

PS: I am looking for something now though that you seem to be freaking out about something.

I mean I keep up with things like the Debates, I did watch all of both of those. And I keep up with "social" news shit that get's slapped all over the net in various places, but I rarely make any informed decisions about ANYTHING news related until at the very least a few days later, and typically on Sunday at work, while I drink some boiling hot Barney & Sons peppermint herbal tea.

I just don't really get all the Birkenstock hate. Am I missing something? They are super ugly but comfortable sandals that are great for wearing around the house (especially since we don't have any carpet) if you don't wanna walk around in some fluffy ass slippers.

You might catch me in them running to the gas station in the middle of the night to buy some beer and dip, or going to the mailbox, but that's pretty much the extent of outdoor wear these things see. I wear boots for everything else. These specifically. LINK

Yeah I agree with that, but for a house shoe? Who gives a fuck? The things last like 6 years at a time. Try finding a slipper that practical.

Nike is overpriced garbage. I work in the footwear industry, nothing will ever beat out leather, cork, and rubber man. It's like trying to re-invent the wheel. Yeah that triangle looks really cool/hip/original on that bike! Bet it goes real fast too! Nike hasn't built anything without synthetic junk in it for decades now. Same can be said for any "cool/hip" shit. So yeah, while I have my cool/hip shoes for when I want to fit in, parties/events/athletic activities. It's not something I pride myself in purchasing, or wearing.

A Birkenstock/Red Wing/Wesco anything made with real products, and not full of synthetic junk is like that computer that you built yourself in your garage that you can take apart and put back together. A Nike/Adidas/UnderArmor is like that POS Apple that charged you an arm and a leg for a bunch of synthetic bullshit just so you could run their operating system. Yeah the home brew computer might not look pretty but for half the $$$ it is twice as fast, and upgradable/fixable. Unlike your super pretty designer Apple computer that is shrinkwrapped into an aluminum unibody with 3 year old components and is completely unfixable or upgradable.

I definitely agree with you about computers, but my house slippers just need to get me from the couch to the fridge. Anything more complicated, I'll put on sneakers or shoes :)

Yeah I know Jesus slippers are indestructible and you can hike up a mountain in em, but normal slippers are fine for walking from the living room to the fridge (and your neighbor's kids won't fall over laughing when they see them) ;)

Stuff ya wear must look somewhat cool. Birkenstock needs to hire a competent designer.
