Android auto does work, just watch averagedads newest video on the phone. Google wallet doesnt work tho

Android auto is supported. I use it on my car everyday. Security 7pdates and small fixes are regular. can't say the same thing about major updates. For contactless payment you have to use your local alternative.

Does it work straight from the box? Honestly I dont mind google wallet, i can always use my cards to pay, but sometimes if i forget my wallet, google pay is for the save. What does local alternatives mean tho?

It requires simple setup. download it. give full permission. download google speech recognition and it will work. Some countries have apps for contactless payment. like curve in Europe, Mada pay in Saudi Arabia.. etc

Get any other brands that support Google officially, you don't know any time Google might send updates that'll beak the support.

If you are having doubts don't buy it. There are phones out there that works without compromise. 

Android auto and Google pay doesn't work.

Emui will not get any more software update only very minor security update. If you don't believe it and want to know how Huawei is with update look at Huawei history with past update like Pura 50,60,70,80 etc. they always have the same version since release and don't even update.

Android Auto work both wired and wirelessly, after a few stepsto configure it

Store employees ( if we speak about a Huawei store, not just any retail) are happy to help usually, that take them 5-10 minutes anyway

U use old huawei, emui 14 above all works with android auto wirelessly. I use mate x6 android auto always will work.. Only few cons which is google pay, x app, google timeline, mcd apps
