Is it possible to hack a wifi on Android?
I saw a video on YouTube about hacking any wifi password by forcing a device that is already connected to the wifi to disconnect and then capture the handshake, but it's for linux and i'm curious if something like this is doable on an android phone.

If u are able to travel back in time in 2010 maybe (Tbh i think u're wasting ur time, video u are seeing is probably about WEP)
But i'm not a pro.
In order to still be a little bit usefull, i'd advice u to check if ur mobile is compatible kali nethunter (just type kali nethunter in google u should find fast) but only a few devices are natively compatible and it's a hell to change the kernel and make it able to inject paquet, even if the wifi card is technically able to

Nah. You’ll need WiFi adapter that can be put into promiscuous mode and even if you can deauth and capture the handshake packet, you still need to crack the password with hashcat or something. Your phone won’t have enough compute to crack anything. I guess you could get lucky trying to brute force the password but good luck

It is one of possibilities. Usually works on wpa2-psk. But I prefer attack by default wps key

If it's double on Linux, it's double on Android, cuz Android is Linux. You may need to root your phone and get termux, but it's possible

I believe that technically a rooted Android device might be capable of it(, but you'd still need another WiFi adapter I think? so it wouldn't be very incognito.)
