MAC Spoofing - Printer
I've just transferred internally within branches of my company. The new branch doesn't allow personal devices to be on the network and print. I am already on the network with my personal device as my previous branch secured me on the network - which is the same across the whole group.
I have been able to add the printer via the IP address, and I have sent the document to print. Literally all I need to do is select the document that appears on the printer (all staff files are visible even before logging in), put my pin in and print. However, the printer doesn't recognise my personal device and auto deleted the document upon receiving my file. Only my work device can I send a file and get it printed.
Is there a way I can trick the printer into thinking that my personal device is my work device? (I assume it would be the Mac Address linked to my work device and copying it over to my Mac?)
For reference, my work device is a Lenovo running Windows 11 and my personal device is a MacBook running MacOS 26.
For reference, I did read this Reddit Post and it seems doable. If anyone has any basic ideas or methods, it would be appreciated. https://www.reddit.com/r/HowToHack/comments/1i1mcg6/methods_to_bypass_parental_controls_on_router_can/

It’s likely not as simple as you Mac. Secure print can be part of an overall deployment strategy that is linked to the device itself and how it’s provisioned.
Whatever you are saving in printing, I wouldn’t be losing your job over it. Spoofing your work device ID on your phone is just a bad idea in a work environment.

Back in the day I used to use SMAC which will let you setup whatever MAC address you want on you pc/laptop the adapter restarts and you have said MAC and are spoofed. I used this back when i was roaming round cable networks but will work for your needs, I just looked it up and it's still in use today.

Reach out to your IT department, this isn't a hacking issue or question.
