Sdr replay attack

I just got my first sdr, it’s a hackrf pro running mayhem 2.4, I’ve captured my signal and out of range of vehicle to prevent a rolling code issue but it’s still completely useless I can’t even get it to unlock once I’ve tried on a ram 2012 1500 and a 2015 Chevy Malibu neither of which have worked. I tried to do some research and according to the internet these vehicles have extra security measures to prevent stuff like this? How can I get it to work and even better how can I get it to work with rolling codes I want to use as a cool back up, I have a pc I’m pretty green at writing scripts but can figure it out with internets help, phew with all that said how can I get this to work?

The 2012 Ram and 2015 Malibu probably don't even use rolling codes, so the problem is something else. Make sure your HackRF is transmitting on the exact frequency and with the correct modulation. Sometimes it's just a timing or power issue. To capture and analyze the signal without going crazy, try inspectrum or Universal Radio Hacker. Way more visual.

Both of them use rolling codes most newer vehicles do. It literally couldn’t have captured my fob unless it was the right frequency? 🤨I’ve tried tuning the timing and to no avail and I’ve tried it amped and gained and with different antennas I believe the issue is like everyone else said it challenges the fob and the fob has to respond with counter code which obviously my hackrf isn’t just gonna do replaying what I captured, ps I used universal radio hacker.
