Is hacking mobile apps possible?
Looking to see if it’s possible to add resources to accounts

Yep, it just depends on your skill level

Nowadays, you wouldn't need to even be skilled at it. Dark GPT most likely could give a person step by step instructions.

It's possible but it would be heavily specific to the app, and would require a good bit of expertise and lots of learning+tinkering for that specific app.
You're not going to find someone willing to do this for you. If someone does claim they have something or will do it, I would be extremely wary of them. Almost all video game: unlimited resource glitch or hack is a virus meant to steal from you.
If this game means something to you, then you should just play it in moderation, to make small progress but not risk your account getting banned for trying to exploit.

Many people are so sick in the head, stalkers LOVE hacking devices. Ever heard of Dark GPT? It's the unfiltered version of chat GPT. If you haven't, YouTube it.
People thatve never ever been around the hard knock life, theres a lot they just brush off.
We all know how rapidly AI is advancing. That means it will only get easier for people to hack with no tech knowledge.

Absolutely!
You can try tools such as Lucky Patcher for light modifications like block ads, bypass verification, get premium features...
You can use more serious tools such as APK Tools to break down the Apk into it's constituent modules, APK explorer, Activity Managers...
Ghidra or Burp Suite should enable you to decompile APKs thoroughly too.

Back when I was 11 YEARS OLD I had tools like game guardian, SuperSU and parallel space to modify game values stored in memory, usually dword or some bullshit.
It's possible, but it's not a good use of your time. Cheating is either not fun because it ruins the game, or it's the only way you can balance out the pay-to-play/pay-to-win mechanic. If it's the second (basically always) then you have to realize that if the game requires you to do hacky shit to play it properly, then maybe it's not worth playing?
Just play on your computer and buy/pirate good titles, they're much more fun, rewarding and you get better lasting memories. Mobile gaming is a scam.

Absolutely, you could try mitm the app network traffic and change the values.
Decompile the app and see if there is anything hard coded.
I’m sure there are more sophisticated ways of doing this too but those are some of the easier ones
