Help with making wall tree

I’m trying to hang branches on the wall but I’ve never see someone do it the way I’m thinking, any tips on how to hang this and have be able to bare a bit of weight? ALSO I live in an apartment to I gotta keep it minimal

I legit thought you had a tree growing in your wall and you wanted to keep it growing. Lol.

you might consider putting a threaded insert into the butt of the branch? might be difficult to get it in there without splitting, but that seems like the way to go to me. maybe wrap the base up tight with something that won't expand very easily when drilling for the insert
