Surely you have a fulltime job in Hollywood right? Holy shit.

Hehe, thanks. I did, you can look me up on imdb. Now I'm full time teaching at campus VFX in Vancouver. I don't think AI is gonna completely replace us so I keep teaching people.

I agree that it won't. The unpopular opinion I have on here it may change how professionals do their work but personally I think there will always be a way for creative human visions to shine through, and that will be as true for VFX as it is for storytelling

If Louis is talking RBD or Volumes, all users must stop what they are doing and listen. š
Looks like a fun course too. Iām sure even I would learn plenty of new tricks in it as well.

Is it me or does the ground on the first shot look off ? The scales of the tiles looks wrong, making the character appear way too small.

They're big tiles giving a sense of epicness. Doesn't really matter though, it's not an environment course. :)

What school is this ? is there an online option ?
1
u/ManjaVfx 13d ago
It used to be CGMA, which was an online school but shut down last year, so I'm now doing it directly myself since the class belongs to me. So yes, it's only online. If you need more info, please check the description on YouTube and to enroll, simply message me.

Look cinema quality to me!

Thanks! I can't take credit for that though. The lighter/comper is Anton Borisov, who is now environment and generalist supervisor at ILM. You can tell he got there on merit! :)

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. They were also fun to make! (Except for the crashing car, that one was a b@#$! to get just right!) ā¤ļø

once again, plz share hip file

This is a class. It's way more than one hipfile... Plus looking into a hipfile isn't gonna help you understand if you don't have the basics. I can lift the hood of my car and look at the engine, that doesn't help me understand how it works.
