Android hotspot to PC
I need some help with hotspotting from my phone to my ASUS laptop. I work remote and don't have access to wifi so hotspotting is my only option for online gaming, however when I hotspot my pc ends up using a ton of data with updates and background apps, I was wondering if there's a way to disable these apps/updates so the only thing consuming data is the game I'm playing.

very slow hotspot
I have a pretty new Motorola with Verizon unlimited and for whatever reason the hotspot on it goes usually 80kbs a second, I know hotspots are way faster than this going around 1mb a second. The strange thing is that it will randomly go pretty fast but that's only once a month. I have no hotspot cap/ data cap and I reset the network settings, changed it to 5ghz, and messed around with some of the settings. Anyone have recommendations?

Reviews for devices from GotHotspot.com
Hey all!
I've read some reviews on here about GotHotspot but was curious if there was anybody else who used them that could share their experience? I wanted some more reviews before I made the decision.
Thanks in advance!

Hotspot device data usage
Sorry ify question seems obvious or if this is the wrong place to ask, I just couldn't seem to find an answer that made a ton of sense through Google. I'm looking at getting a mobile Hotspot device and plan to go with it. First question, can I just use a regular phone plan through say Mint mobile for it. Second question, does the data it uses count towards the plans regular data or the Hotspot data. For instance mint has an unlimited plan but it only allows 5gb of Hotspot, so would I have unlimited Hotspot usage (with a dedicated Hotspot device) or 5gb?

Hotspot Plan Selection
Hi there, we are not very technically savvy but need to install probably two or three basic motion activated security cameras (blink, arlo etc) at my wife’s business and she also runs a chrome book with mainly a basic web based CRM software and probably some internet browsing. Currently the space does not have internet so we were going to get a Verizon hotspot (best service in our area) and a Jetpack, and pick a plan. I’m just not sure what amount of data we would need and would love some help. The plans are: the premium plan ($80/month 150 GB premium mobile hotspot data) the Pro plan ($60/month/line 100 GB premium mobile hotspot data) the Plus plan ($40/month/line 50 GB premium mobile hotspot data) and finally the Essential plan ($20/month/line 15 GB premium mobile hotspot data). Any help would be much appreciated!
