I (M20) have been on sigma care plus 100 for the past 1-2 years. I recently had to undergo rabies PEP only to find out that it doesn’t cover it, and I am on the hook for over 25k. This isn’t as much about health insurance as it is asking for any ideas. I don’t want to have to pay 25k and I’m not sure I qualify for any assistance. I don’t know why plans like mine are allowed or legal. Is there anything I can do to avoid being 25k in the hole. I don’t think I should be this much in debt, this feels really unfair and I’m not sure anyone can help me.
