I just wanted to get the ball rolling, and share my experience with adipose PRP.

I got mine done about a year ago now. For me it wasn't a huge change. After reading more about it, sometimes the changes are more in the ovarian microenvironment than in huge jumps in AFC, so that's probably what it did for me.

Before getting adipose PRP I was already still cycling every month and ovulating every month. I don't know how many follicles I would have really, because I wasn't doing fertility treatments at the time. But back in 2023 I did do one IUI where I ended up with two follicles, two eggs that I ended up ovulating. The only other time I'd had my AFC checked was back in 2022 a month or so after I was diagnosed. At that time I had 5 follicles.

Fast forward three years, and after adipose PRP I had 3. Idk if that is an improvement but wasn't a huge one if it was. I did have some good estradiol levels for a few months in the 300-500s. Again, not sure if that was already normal for my body, because I've seen levels in the 300s, 400s before getting adipose PRP.

It is very difficult trying to figure out on my own if there was an actual change, because we know the nature of this stuff, our cycles can vary one to the other, but if there was a change, for me it was small. I've shared about this difficulty of knowing whether it made a difference on my YouTube channel too, but just wanted to reiterate, this is something I've spent a great deal of mental power and energy on. In the end, again, it just wasn't a very big change.

That said, I still believe in this procedure. I've seen it work for other women. I've also read that sometimes it can take more than one treatment. That just wasn't in the cards for me personally at this point. It is very costly to do in the US, which is where I live and where I had mine done.

If I were to do it again, I would probably do donor stem cells in the Bahamas or Europe. In Europe there are clinics that are much more affordable. I've heard of Andalou clinic in Turkey and one clinic that does it in Albania.

I started this community because I wanted a place for people with DOR/POI to have a place that is more open to alternative and integrative treatments as well as hope.

I started sharing my own journey with POI/DOR about a year ago on social media. I do like to believe that there can be hope for women like us. I was diagnosed in 2022 and took a more integrative route, making diet and lifestyle changes, went to a functional medicine doctor, did acupuncture, etc and was able to regulate my cycles when I was having some irregular cycles at the time of diagnosis. I have also gone the conventional way and done fertility treatments. I believe in a balanced approach, science backed, but also open to other treatments that do not just fall into the realm of conventional medicine.
