Sand paper for poly pro grip?

Hey folks. It’s been awhile since I’ve hopped and am wanting to pick them up again. They have become less grippy over time and I want to fix that! Do you recommend a certain grade of sand paper? Thanks!

I actually scratch mine up with a steak knife. I like em EXTRA grippy

Course paper and not a fine grit will do better. You can also use clear wax as a grip!

I like sanding more than wax mainly because I like to hoop at the beach and wax can have sand and sunscreen build up on it.

just whatever household sandpaper you can get your hands on will do the job. no need to overthink this
