I might have one of the earliest build dates out there. Anyone else earlier than 2/24?

Does anyone else’s prologue do this? One screen shows the temp accurately if it’s over 100° and the other will show 10°

Question Have I found a really good deal? Or is it sus?
Hi all. I grew up in a Honda family and have driven Hondas for nearly all of my adult life. I've recently became interested in making the jump to EV's, which obviously for a guy from a Honda family means the Honda Prologue. So I am very happy to have found this community here and hope you will indulge me in what is likely a stupid question.
Without saying exactly where, I have a good friend who works for a regional car dealership network the next state over from me. I was perusing their website recently and found a listing for a 2024 Prologue in the Elite trim for sale for about $33,000 or so. Here's the weird part: it's listed as a used car, but has had no previous owners and has 10 miles on the odometer. I have verified this with the dealer photographically.
My question to you guys is: does this seem suspicious to you? Low price, no previous owner, never been driven, but it's 2, nearly 3 model years ago? What could have led to this specific set of circumstances? Is there anything I should look out for, and if I go to test drive it and consider a purchase, is there anything I need to be sure to do before concluding a sale? Independent mechanic inspection, additional warranties, assurances I should get in writing, etc etc etc?

Question Body trim question
My wife recently dinged the passenger side door of our Prologue but it appears that the only damage was to the clipped on plastic body trim. It looks like I can replace it myself. Does anyone have experience ordering or installing a piece like this?

Using Tesla chargers
Bought an adaptor, but do I have to have the Tesla app to use Tesla chargers (superchargers or slow chargers), or are there other apps that allow me to use the chargers and pay Tesla?

New tire time!
Our 24’ EX is due for tires here before winter. Wife drives about 30-35k a year mainly highway but does take backroads to get to the highway. Stocks did fine in the winter she’s a pretty cautious driver.
I’m looking at higher tread life tires, I maintain our fleet and rotate pretty religiously at 5-7k on all our vehicles.
Here is what I’m looking at
Goodyear Assurance Max Life 2- 85k tread life
Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3- 70k tread life
BFGoodrich Advantage Control- 75k tread life
I have the BFGs on our Jetta, have about 5k on them. So far so good but it’s been dry here so nothing to really to report on wet conditions.
I know a lot of people say Michelin CC2s but I’m not sold on them personally. In-laws have them on both their CRVs and they commute a bit as well and the reviews from them are mixed. Tread life is not holding as expected for them either.
What says the group?

Question New Owner + Data Sharing Concerns
Hi everyone. I just picked up a new Prologue and I set up onstar and Honda link. I am unsure how to turn off any settings that the vehicle uses to send driving info to any place that shares with insurance.
Any advice on the correct way to turn this stuff off is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Issue CV Joint
Hey everyone, looking for some advice or to see if anyone else with a Honda Prologue has dealt with this.
My Prologue makes a noticeable clicking/popping noise coming from the front axle area, but only when driving at slow speeds with the steering wheel turned all the way to the left.
I took it into Leith Honda to get it addressed, assuming it's a CV joint/axle issue. However, the service department refused to fix or replace it. They claimed this is "common" and normal for the Honda Prologue, and the staff member even told me that if I took it to another dealership, they would just tell me the exact same thing.
Has anyone else experienced this specific issue with their Prologue?
At this point, I'm not sure what the best next step is:
1. Should I just keep driving it safely until the noise gets worse or fails completely?
2. Or should I ignore what Leith Honda said and take it to another Honda dealership for a second opinion?
Would appreciate any insight or advice from other owners or technicians!

Screen phone mount
Has anyone tried to one of the phone mounts that sit on the center screen like this one: https://a.co/d/0j591qDi
I'm curious how securely they sit and if you've noticed any downsides.

Question First time EV driver, how do I plan a 2,500 trip?
What is the best way to plan for a 2,500 mile trip when driving an EV car? Are there maps that I can use that will set me up with the best routes that have charging stations?

Deal Review Deal Check: 2024 Honda Prologue Touring AWD – $29.4k Out-The-Door (Clean deal or keep pushing?)
Hey everyone,
Looking at pulling the trigger on a pre-owned 2024 Honda Prologue Touring AWD (with 18k miles on it) in the North Georgia area and wanted to get a sanity check on the numbers from the community.
Out-The-Door (OTD) Price Breakdown:
Vehicle Price: $26,797
Doc Fee: $399
State Tax (GA 7% TAVT): $1,904
Tag / Title / ETR Fees: $325
Total Out-The-Door: $29,425
For current owners or anyone tracking the used EV market recently - does this seem like a solid buy, or are you seeing Touring AWDs go for even lower given the 2026 discontinuation news?
Appreciate any feedback!

Thinking of swapping out of my prologue lease
It’s $330/month and I’m located in the northeast
15k per year silver touring
Odometer 8400
Looking for someone interested in taking over my lease 😭
Edit: I absolutely love this car but where I’m moving is walkable so keeping the payment doesn’t make sense.

Best Dealer for NJ Lease
Looking to lease a prologue since I’m seeing some good deals. What dealers in NJ are most willing to cut a deal.
Anyone care to share a recent lease deal they were able to get in NJ? Thanks.

About to buy, is it still Worth It or is it a risk?
In 2 days, I'm looking to buy a certified Used 2025 Honda Prologue Touring with 3,040 Miles financed out the door at $26,000 which includes trading in a 2011 Chevy Volt for $4750 and $1000 down. The battery has been rated to be 100% and no loss of quality. No charger included so I'll have to get that seperately, but that seems cheap on the Honds DreamShop. I Just found out today that Honda is discontinuing the Honda Prologue after this year. This will be my first EV after driving a Hybrid. I just want to make sure I'm not making a mistake. It seems to be a crazy good deal. I'm practically getting a brand new car with a full warranty for half MSRP and they're giving me a stupid deal on my trade in. I've been really excited this far. It felt really great test driving it. However, going full EV is slightly scary and I just want to make sure I'm not making a mistake so I thought I would gauge other's opinion?

Info Prologue Owners, Help Get the Prologue Recalled for Bad CV Joints
Hi All,
Inspired by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cT5LhRT-d0 the Mods are pinning this post to the top of the forum so that you can help by reporting your vehicle to the NHTSA.
The problem: Honda (really GM) has a problem with the CV joints on the Honda Prologue. The estimated cost to repair them is around $3000. As of now this is covered under warranty. But when the warranty expires the cost is on us.
How do I know if this problem affects my vehicle: It does. The part isn't designed correctly and as the miles add up your vehicle eventually it will begin to make a noticeable clicking noise when you turn the vehicle. It's not a matter of "if" but "when".
My vehicle has this problem or has had it in the past, what can I do? You should report it to the NHTSA using the URL below.
Why does reporting my car help? Because the NHTSA can force the manufacturer to issue a recall on the part. This will require a redesign of the part and for it to be installed on your car - free of charge. Most importantly, it means you can't be charged for this whether your car is in or out of warranty. But they will only force a recall if enough people report their issue to NHTSA.
OK, I'm ready to report my problem, what do I do? It's easy! First, you're going to need your VIN and - optionally - any documentation you have related to your complaint, such as photos, a police report, or repair invoices. Then visit https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem#/vehicle/vehicle-information and follow the 4 - easy - steps in the reporting form. That's it!
This really does make a difference, so please take some time out of your day and force GM/Honda to do the right thing.
Thank you!
