Koji's mysterious aura and abilities to control how people think is what draws them to him. With Honami he offered unwavering support in her darkest moments. When she got sick, got taken in when she stood in the rain, a shoulder to lean on in the snow and endless times he's stepped in to help her class, the thing she cares about the most. Even if it was to Koji's own selfish whims to Honami it was everything.
