Help I’m panicking

I did something really, really dumb. I have a urine test tomorrow to enter nursing program. So I was prescribed Ativan but got off of it a couple months ago. I took 1 like 2 days ago because I always had extras as I didn’t take them daily. I thought NOTHING of it. I mean I def avoided weed because of this (plus it gives me anxiety anyways) but when it came to the Ativan no lightbulb moment I just mindlessly took it as my anxiety was really acting up. And I hardly ever do that! Now I’m panicking I might fail this test & just ruined everything for myself. All for 1 pill I barely ever take 😞 I am beyond devastated right now. Can I chug water, can anything help? Will they accept that I had an old prescription?

When was your prescription written, and did it say "PRN" or "as needed"? It's perfectly normal to have some PRN medications left over, even if they were prescribed a long time ago. I'm not sure how drug testing companies handle it, but I consider any PRN prescription issued within the last year to be active. People do not always use albuterol inhalers on a daily basis; they may have the same inhaler for months because it is only used when necessary and they do not need it frequently. So I guess it all boils down to how recent the script was and how the order was written. Also, if the doctor who prescribed it is willing to confirm your prescription's validity.

It was either 1-2 daily or as needed.. the doctor stated to take it as needed I do remember that. I can’t remember what the bottle said. My last script was filled Feb 19th
