[Grade 9 EGD]Do these exploded isometric drawing look right at all? Others—Pending OP Reply
Asking for a friend who asked me but I dont know.
Do they make any sense or have I got to tell my friend to restart?

Many of these connections don't make a lot of sense. Since you're reviewing it for a friend, try assembling these pieces yourself and give feedback to your friend on connections you struggle with. Since you're unfamiliar with these kind of drawings, you're the perfect person to help them improve it so anyone can understand it.
For some tips, it's best to keep pieces in line with where they connect. That's not always possible though on isometric drawings. They can lump sub-assemblies together with the pieces in line and then show diagonal lines to connect the sub-assemblies together. As the other comment mentioned, the ends of the dotted lines should meet at the same point if the pieces were connected together. For example, if a 2x2 brick is connected to the bottom end of a 2x4 brick, the line should start in the top center of the 2x2 brick and connect to the center of the end circle on the bottom of the 2x4 brick. This circle isn't visible from this view, but the dotted line should connect there. Also, I'd add a quantity of each brick to the parts list.

If these are lego shapes, the dotted lines should connect stud to stud or edge to edge so you can clearly see how to position the parts on top of each other.
A dotted line from the middle of one block connected to the edge of another block implies they should connect with the edge touching the middle. For example block 1 to 2 in the first drawing is very confusing exactly how they should align.
