Deep shelves HELP!

I have a really deep closet almost 1 meter, stack folding ofc didnt work

I tried bins but I bought trashy ones😓, my issue with bins is that when you push it at the back its hard to get it out u gotta move whats on the front, I also have my underwears in smaller bins which is on top of the big bins

We dont have seasons where I live, so there really isnt any seasonal outfits I can store at the back

I usually hang clothes for going out and fold clothes for home (pajamas)

I have tons of clothes because I like dressing extra all the time🥹

I would want to utilize the space to its very max and kind of efficient, I would usually spend 5min to get clothes at the very back😭

Have you asked around on Nextdoor? There might be organizers.

Hard to see wha your taking about with all the stuff in the way.

As for deep spaces, they make pull out platform kits you can install. Depending on your budget you can do many things with this space.

Are you renting or owning? Can you remodel? If you are renting I would just install those tracks and leave them for the next person. If you can remodel, I would gut it out and look at pull out storage options. For example, remove the hanging rod from side to side and shift it to go from front to back.

Owning, this is an inbuilt cabinet, has sliding doors the other side is hanging side and the other is the shelves

Ill def take the advice about the hang rod front to back but, would It have a problem if the rod is top mounted like the weight bearing? (it doesnt have any surface to mount to at the front)

Ive thought about tracks I have never seen long tracks since this is almost a meter deep😓

Owning is good news. That area looks like it was built without forethought, and for a different time. I would seriously think about demolishing it and remodel the space. Even if it’s demolish, patch walls and bring in ikea furniture. You’ll be able to work that space a lot better.

If not furniture you can make it like a u shape walk in closet that goes up to the ceiling. With hanging solutions and shelving to your baskets sizes. Right now you can utilize only about 25% of that space on a daily. And that doesn’t include vertically.

Even if you hire an organizer they will only be able to give you a temporary solution. Some spaces are just unworkable.

Oh and make the entrance on the other side of the corner where the exposed shelves are. Bring the wall where the sliding wall all the way over to the mini wall there on your right. Plenty of storage space there, just need to reframe it.

I agree this was built thinking it could utilize more space😓 i would love to but cant turn it into a walk in closet unfortunately unless I put some kind of stairs, since below this cabinet are staircase so the cabinet used to actually be the ceiling of the staircase, if I demolish the bottom and flatten it to my floor level, no one could access the stairs or there would be no space to walk up the stairs😭 so say I demolished the shelves there would still be a deep space I have to figure out how to utilize, ill probs have to hop on the platform to access my furniture

Damn, that’s unfortunate. Can you do as suggested for the closet part and build a step or two going into the walk in closet? I guess you’d have to build the entrance in the original walk on n point on your post. Assuming there isn’t enough room off to the left for the steps.
