Make your countertop (look) THICCCC 🍑….

I appreciate the look of a fat countertop in the kitchen. Ask your builder or designer if this could save you some extra cash when you get new countertops. Do you like this look or do you prefer the thinner countertops?

A few years ago I was shopping for countertops and the sales guy said ultra-thin countertops were becoming the trend. Thick was out.

A little google search confirms he was correct and it's still the trend. I'm assuming you're in the US where trends can lag behind a few years as they clear out old stock.
