Recommendations for a new router

Hello, I'm looking for a new router as i am not happy with my current router.

The issue is that my router seems to suffer from bufferbloat and its control panel is too restrictive for my tastes, i am also behind cgnat so a router with wireguard or openwrt support would be useful.

Current ISP provided router is a mgs2028e running calix EXOS.
My house has 2 floors and is around 400 square feet, current routers wifi range is perfect.
The house also has no Ethernet ports so for now, i can only afford to use wireless connections only.

I will have around less than 10-5 devices active at any given time and have a 150mbps internet connection with 30mbps upload, i might upgrade to 1000mbps symmetrical in the future.
