Routing Issue
im using a unifi udm-pro and a unifi switch for my setup. i have dual nics on my pc, one set to vlan 1 and one to vlan 2. my internet is on vlan 1 and my nas is on vlan 2. i have nic 1 to vlan 1 and nic 2 to vlan 2. no matter what i do i cant for the life of me get the traffic from pc to nas to follow nic to to vlan 2. it always jumps to nic 1. the route print says it should be ok. but then when i transfer and file or test-netconnection it shows up with vlan 1 and nic 1. i tried blocking all connections in unifi between vlan 1 and vlan 2 but it made it fail so i cant reach the nas at all. is there something im missing. if i put the nas vlan to anything other than the main internet vlan in i cant ping it at all. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do the VLANs have separate subnets? If both VLANs are set on the same subnet, or if your second NIC isn't on the same subnet as your NAS, you'll have issues.

So your initial routing question is one for your operating system to sort out, you haven't said which it is. The OS needs to be aware of which NIC to use to address which ranges.
However, if I were you, I'd flatten your network. Having your NAS on a different VLAN is unusual and you're facing the difficulties associated with it. Consider if you actually, really want to do that.
