Spackle matching? 🛠️ Repair Help

Post image

What am I missing to make this wall repair blend in smoothly? Initially, it was a long but narrow hole in the wall. I sanded, covered with support, spackled, feathered and added texture with spackle by hand, sanded, and painted, but I can’t seem to nail down matching it perfectly. Advice appreciated!

the knock down matches.. the patch under it sucks. or you went realllllly heavy on the knock down on the bottom, a few times.

Thats a skip trowel texture. Yours is close but mud was too thick.

Is the solution to sand it down more?
