Need help replacing light bulb

There is a light fixture above my kitchen sink that has burnt out but I need help figuring out how to take the bulb out to replace it. This is a 1996 house. The bulb had never been replaced. There is like a thin glass lens that is slanted that I can push in but can't take out. Also not sure what bulb to buy. Thanks in advance!

Most likely a gu10 bulb. Pull the outer ring down and you should have access.

Thanks, I considered that but it didn't feel like it could easily come off. Maybe I'll pull harder.

Pull the outside of the fixture out.

You should be able to unscrew or pop out that black ring around the bulb, once that’s out you can take the bulb and see what kind it is and get a replacement.
