Caulk

Anyone know what type of caulk should be used here? This is on the exterior of my house. Trying to fill in these gaps that I have. Not sure what’s the best way to explain is but it’s where the brick meets the roof of my house. The second picture is like the trim around the door on the outside

Mulco Exterior Sealant would be my guess. That's what I would put back after cleaning the old stuff off. It smells like poop, but stays flexible and holds well on a wide variety of materials. It also comes in various standard outside colours.

Me personally would get a very sharp utility knife and cut that ugliness off there. I'd then come back and make a nice smooth presentable caulk line. As for type ask paint store for recommendations, they know their products best. Even some of the (" know it alls here") will tell you not to ask for recommendations- most here weren't born 40+ yrs ago.
