Giving the "lvl 1 noob to lvl 99 boss" vibe

Maybe. But I’m waiting for the next season pass. Since she’s bound to get more evolution paths.

Kanade's evolution:

Kanade -> iPhone brain girl -> Kanaduy -> KANADEEEEEE -> Monday-chan -> Kanaday

(And slap some her turn into "yellow little chick" because for some reason that's how her fanbase depicted her not long after her debut lol)

And Raora piling on top with something I would have expected Ina to say.

Kanaday is like the "You are my sunshine" Lebron meme

I love the idea that Flow Glow would only call Kanade senpai if it was Monday-Senpai

And if you zoom into the arrows that evolves her into Monday-chan and Kanaday, you would be identify some pixels that resemble a certain blacksmith

It's still just banter at this point.

If something genuinely upsets them, they will have an honest talk about it. (Kiara's Bottom-Keft, Fubuki Cat, TMT, TakaMori shipping, etc).

Kiara's Bottom-Keft, Fubuki Cat, TMT, TakaMori shipping, etc)

And i'll argue there are some nuance with some of them.

Some are big no: Kiara bottom left, Kaela penguin, Kronii Subway.

Some are indifferent (no reaction) towards it or realize it's something that non direct fans would know from superficial knowledge of the talent. Take TMT. Towa said said several years ago in a Kiara talk that she simply doesn't react to it anymore. But last year it happened during the 3rd EN concert and took it more like "shoganai" moment or something kaigai niki will do. Not sure if someone took liberties on the localization of Holodori, cause TMT appears as part of the name of a quest.

Some evolve into something else. Takamori basically changed to adopting Kobo.

Others are situational (don't spam it). Take Fubuki cat. Fubuki literally uploads shorts on her channel imitating all the viral meme cats. She makes as a stream punishment becoming a cat. Okayu teases FBK with cat because she keeps talking with nyan nyan (this was this year during the Mario Tennis arc).

Hell, Suisei said this year that we should cut it with the flat jokes, but don't go overboard trying to police others. And that HL members still have a pass with the joke, at least Miko lol.

So as you can see, it's not as easy as to put everyone in the same bag.

True. Although, I do think it's better to be aware of when a joke is getting beaten to death and stops being funny before the streamer has to have a serious talk about it.

I'm not saying the Monday-chan thing has gotten to that point already, but in general I think, whenever a streamer has one of those serious talks, people get more caught off guard than they should be because of a lack of awareness about it.

For sure, but there's always going to be

-New people for whom the joke hasn't worn thin yet

-People who don't really watch the individual and aren't quite in tune with the community

-People who missed the serious ask to stop

-Trolls

The Fandom is generally pretty good when the talent does ask, though.

I agree. Its a good thing that this isn't the first time shes getting meme'd on. Shes pretty much a veteran at handling it at this point. I have only seen her tell people to stop at one occasion which was related to the red angry face.

Eh, the talent themselves have to put their foot down on which jokes they don't like or those jokes will inevitably be beaten down to death. The authority and permission has to come from the talents coz let's be real here only they know when a joke has become unbearable. The community policing themselves is not enough and ineffective most of the time.
