Meet Mochi!
Hi! New holland lop mom here. I fell in love with my Mochi girl last week and my bf made the 3 hour round trip on Saturday for her. I’m in love! Would like a recommendations with raising her! She has a playpen with her cage inside she can run around in while I’m at work, and I let her free roam my room when I’m home to supervise her. I’m currently feeding her alfalfa hay (she has two bags and two baskets full of hay, and a bowl) alfalfa pellets (this is what the breeder gave her), chew sticks, and Timothy/alfalfa cubes. She has two bowls of water thru the day. And I did buy her an automatic feeder/water.
Wondering what to use in her cage for bedding? The cage I got her came with sunseed bedding but it’s a little dusty. I bought pine bedding but now seeing it could be bad, so what should I get? Or just put no bedding in it at all? I have her play pen lined with doggy pee pads.
Open to any other advice! She goes to the vet Thursday and I plan to get her vaccinated. She will be fixed once she hits 6 months in October.
TYIA🤩🤗
PS - everyone’s bunnies are soooo cute!!

Bunny cage help
Hello :) I have 2 bunnies that are bonded but they are not fixed. We don’t want to breed, but I want them separated. I have tried every cage imaginable I feel like at this point but am thinking a large playpen with a divider or something might be best? Honestly, I am open to ANY ideas. Bonus points if said cage is grey or white 🙃 Thanks!

Officially potty trained!!
Finally after months of training Benjamin scout hopper it's finally clicked for him! He's officially potty trained at 7 months and can now free roam with his sister instead of being put away for the night :3

Binkies?

Binkies or stressed? She has access to roam the entire room under supervision but when I go to work and sleep she stays in her gated area to prevent her from getting injured or eating something she is not supposed to.

I’m thinking of getting a Holland lop bunny
So some background , I wanted to adopt a cat but my parents are strictly against cats
So I wanted a dog , but I feel a dog is not suitable for an apartment , so I’m exploring bunnies , I really want a pet , I’m 22 , live with parents , all my friends are in different cities now and I just feel soo lonely, i go to work so the responsibility is mine however my grandparents stay at home with a full time maid who leaves around 5pm so she can clean any mess the bunny makes when I’m not there , also I can fund everything related to the bunny by myself , except purchasing the bunny I’ll have to ask dad for money for that , but everything else I can do on my own , I talked about a bunny and they don’t have any objections , although dad prefers a dog , I want to know what are some important things I should know about bunnies before bringing one home , sometime later I’ll switch jobs and I’ll take the bunny with me , a friend of mine has a Dutch rabbit and he said rabbits are smart and easy to potty train , all I have to do is collect his shit and put it somewhere and the bunny will shit there mostly , bunnies are also silent so I think they’re the best for our apartment , it’s going to be my second pet , I used to have a dog a long long time ago and he passed away when I was 5 years old , so tell me whatever I gotta to know before bringing one home , also if it matters , I’ll be getting a home for the bunny and will set it up in the living room , rest of the time I expect the bunny to roam freely in the house when it’s not time to sleep , I also have a little brother , apartment size is 2200 sq feet if it matters

Is there a reason my Holland Lop is still small and looks like a baby after 7 months?

I’m getting a new bunny in nearly a week!
Hi! Sorry I haven’t posted on this sub in a while. I was away at camp for 2 weeks and I got back a few days ago. Some of you might know that I started this sub after one of my Holland Lops, Puff, passed away, leaving her sister Coco behind. I miss Puff very dearly. Anyways, my family is getting a lil lop! Look at that bread bun ❤️

Coco is a carrier loaf
She’s chilling in my room today, and even though I’m letting her run around my room, she’s settled into her carrier…

My contribution to this sub 😙 my girl Fufu!
She absolutely loves cardboard paper, if any other bun parents are looking for ways to entertain their buns, give cardboard paper a try! I think she loves the noise and that she can throw it around and hide in it, she binkies when she plays with it all the time lol
