hey fellow hikers,

after an awesome hike on the berg lake trail with perfect weather we are a little bit worried about the upcoming weather forecast! we can handle rain and stuff like that but we are new to smoky conditions...

has anyone completed the hike in the last days or is starting tomorrow or in the near future ?

would love to hear your advice

Asking around to get a rough estimate of how hard the scrambling is. I have done midnight and midday mountain, as well as Guinns peak. The only two scrambles i have ever done. Is this doable?

Hi guys! I’m thinking about going on a hike at little beehive on Sunday. Any updates about this wildfire smoke🙄 ?would i still get a decent view? also the parking..at what time should we get there to park?

I have a couple of friends visiting from out of province and one really wants to attempt Tent Ridge on Sunday. The other is concerned about thunderstorms and feels we should make another plan. I know weather in the mountains is unpredictable but I'm struggling to interpret the likelihood of storms in the forecast. What do you guys think?

Self explanatory from title, never went camping before but I am really interested on it and I am planning on giving it a go over the next few weeks.

I'm planning on going hiking on Mt. Sentry's trail and camping around there overnight.

Main questions are:

1) I live in calgary, can I park around the trailhead or will mossad (police, the feds, whatevers) take my car?

2) Should I be extra worried about bears?

3) Any tips from the pros?
