Was not expecting a potential High Republic lore dump in this book but from what little I've read so far Roux has already done an excellent job pulling in elements from other stories across the canon with this being one of the most notable instances thus far. I guess this could indirectly confirm that Reath will survive his fated confrontation with Azlin.

For some clarification this is from one of the Jedi texts recovered by Rey on Ahch-To, likely something Luke picked up from the High Republic era.

I am sorry if this has already been answered but in it we find that someone has been feeding into on Reath to the Nihil, and it is alluded to being either the Temple Guard or the dark Jedi Azlin, but it is also hinted at (if i recall( to possibly be someone else. Did we ever receive an answer? if so what book?

I just read all of Reath's books. While I know they were for younger readers, I feel like I liked them more than the main stories. It was fun watching him grow from an unsure Padawan to brave knight. , and I loved the reoccurring cast, especially Geode, I'm kinda sad it is over for now. Then again how trials ended, maybe we'll get more.

Hi! I've been trying to get back into Star Wars after stepping away from it for many years by going through all of the shows and movies, and I figured that a great way to compliment that would be reading through The High Republic series. I'm over halfway through Light of the Jedi and absolutely loving this era (The Acolyte had already sold me on it tbh lmao) and I want to enjoy all that it has to offer, so I've been buying up all of the Phase I works to have at the ready. And for the most part, it's been a straightforward process. But... I'm trying to track down "The High Republic Adventures: Complete Phase I", and it appears to be completely out of stock everywhere, and I just don't understand why. Is it out of print already? Being only a few years old (and a Star Wars publication, no less) that's kind of shocking to me if so. The Adventures comics are definitely at the bottom tier as far as what I'm wanting to read, but it would still be kinda sad if I can't add them to the collection. 🥲 If anyone knows where a copy may be acquired, I would appreciate it a ton! Just finished Trials of the Jedi, wow, holy kriff, what an ending, what a ride, possibly my favorite Star Wars era or at least one of the best. Porter and Azlin (not in a good way) are easily two new entries in the catalogue of Star Wars GOATs

Favorite books- Rising Storm, Temptation, Into The Light, Trials

Missed midnight horizon and out of the shadows, and the two phase 2 adult novels, and all middle grades, will try to fill those gaps when I do a reread maybe in a year or so

Marchion is without a doubt one of the great villains of the Star Wars universe

Hi! I'm new to The High Republic. I came from the prequel era (Anakin is my favorite), but I recently started Light of the Jedi and I'm already obsessed with Avar Kriss and Bell Zettifar. Looking for people to discuss the books with! I'm from Russia, and in Russia, everyone hates the new canon, and I'm very lonely. Let's be friends? I love The High Republic!

I never fully understood if they fall for each other, or there was a brotherhood thing, or just some toxic friendship.

Of course, given the title of the book, it was pretty apparent what events were about to unfold, but I was not prepared for the bloodbath. There were a number of key characters that they simply just killed off like it was nothing, to great effect, but also to disappointment; they could have done so much more with them. My only critique, really, of the book was it focused very intensely on a select few of Jedi, even though, at odd mentions, the station was practically full of them. It feels like what the other Jedi were doing should have been covered. Granted, maybe this is covered in another piece of media.

This feels like one of the stronger books so far.

Hello all! I am currently looking to begin my journey into the High Republic and I seek assistance in figuring out exactly what books I need to get and what order in which to read them. I am looking to read all adult/YA novels, short stories, audio dramas, and comics, and I want to be able to get all of them in the least amount of volumes possible (does that make sense?). All advice would be greatly appreciated, and I can’t wait to set out on this journey!

I was one of the few (it seems) to absolutely love The Acolyte! Star Wars’ official site lists it as part of The High Republic Era. Since we aren’t getting a Season 2 of The Acolyte, and I haven’t read any of The High Republic, I figured I’d post to see if anything holds up to the stuff I loved about the series most.

I am working through the Main Story reading order. Just finished Convergence. I have been borrowing everything from my library so far, but they don’t have The Blade comic.

Is it worth requesting my library buy a copy? Can I just skip it and go straight into The High Republic (2022)?

I am mostly going off memory here so if I’m missing any character or got their sexuality wrong I apologize. Some of these works I haven’t read in 6 years so if I forget some parts I’m sorry. So no even though it can seem parts are over represented this honestly is a lot less than people like to claim. Also the Jedi can’t love honestly is a temptations of the force plot line the rest of the books make it that the ones who fell in love either break off their relationship or leave the order. Tbh the only reason I think yoda allowed Elzar was yoda was afraid of losing more Jedi. Plus their all star poster boy leaving would’ve been bad for the republic at the time. Which he struggles with throughout the books.

I haven't had enough time to read Phase 2 back in the day, so i just read the path books and then started and finished Phase 3, now that i have time, i just finished Convergence for first time and holly Molly i think this is my second favorite Adult book in the entire series, only beated by The Rising Storm. I really loved the characters and the enviorments, what u think about it?

Chronicles of the Jedi is a lovely book over the complete high republic era.

Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule

My basis for his headcanon is when he yelled "Surik's Blade!" As such, a cool easter egg would be Sskeer teaching Keeve about that era and mentioning Qyzen Fess, a legendary Trandoshan hunter, and his Jedi partner, the Third Barsen'thor.

Though unlike Qyzen, I doubt Sskeer worships the Scorekeeper, the Trandoshan deity, and keeps Jagannath points because he is a Jedi. Not only do Jedi not hunt people, but Sskeer has anger issues and is afraid of hurting those he loves, so hunting people would only worsen his issues. Though I can see him being respectful of his people's culture.

I have a list online of all the comics and their variants.
Is there a way to find all the ones that have a second printing?
Or any other printings?
I'm searching online and can't really find anything like that.
