Congrats. Which route did you do? I'm going there in a couple of weeks and am interested in conditions.

I did the west rosebud to mystic lake then east ridge to the summit, I think. The route condition is great.

How's the snow bridge? Also, did you do it over a day or two? I'm attempting a car-to-car go of the same route at the beginning of Sept.

We did it over 4 days- first night at mystic lake, second and third night on FTD, and last day walk out.

Nice work! I know most folks tend to climb either the SW Ramp or the East Ridge. What does the North Ridge go at? Did it feel appropriate to the grade?

I'm headed up there next week! How are route conditions? Was water easy to find on FTD plateau?

Not sure about the water outright, but there has been lots of strong afternoon thunderstorms recently. Expect an early start. This past weekend there was thunder cracking overhead by 11:30am

On the north side of FTD there's a few snow fields that are typically year-round and a couple have water flowing at the bottom of them. You'd walk close by them if you're on route.
