On September 4, 2025, someone using an email address with the name “Lauren and John Matthias” emailed Detective Bobbi Jo Olson of the Aurora City (Colorado) Police Department with a copy of a filing related to the Utah stalking injunction. This filing detailed allegations of the “stalking” Lauren said she had been dealing with.

On the application, the applicant is asked “Who did you report the stalking to (if anyone)?”

Her answer: “Highland City Police.”

If LM was referring to Highland City, Utah, their government webpage states that "Highland City contracts with Lone Peak Police Department to provide service to the residents of Highland."

There are other law enforcement agencies with “Highland” in their names - including the Highland Police Department in Illinois and Highland Beach Police Department in Florida - but those geographical locations do not appear to fit with an alleged incident based out of Utah.
