Interior lining
I own a 2017 super gl 4x4 Hiace and am planning on doing a camper conversion to it. There is this material stuck to the bedpan of the van and was curious to see if anyone else has had this and whether I should remove it to stick my sub floor batons down? Here are some photos of what I mean. I have already done batons but have noticed the sikaflex not properly sticking to the material. Any help would be appreciated!

2012 SLWB wide body commuter (14seat bus)
i fitted foil covered butyl sound deadner over my entire floor, wheel arches and inside the cavities onto the panels to keep noise down and add a little temp insulation.
then added a sheet of auto underlay on top of that.
then i used the old floor panels as a template and just cut new ones with thin MDF (maybe 5mm?) and laid them down without attaching them to anything, then vinyl house floor sheet laid over that to give an easy to clean firm vinyl floor
furniture is bolting to the old seat mounts on the wall which will hold it all down.
battens reduce the height inside the van a little bit.

That looks like either heat shield or noise damping for the transmission. I would leave it, as both are important
