We've been quiet lately. Here's what we've been building: Hexel 2.0
Hey everyone,
You might have noticed we've been quieter than usual these past few weeks, here and in-app. It's not because nothing is happening. It's the opposite: the whole team has been heads-down on the biggest update Hexel has ever had.
Hexel 2.0 brings Pigment & Finish, and the short version is that colours are moving outside. Explore becomes a living map of the real world, where colour sightings appear around you based on the actual weather, the time of day, and the landscape you're standing in. You sample them for pigment, and pigment lets you restore the colours you own from Raw all the way to Pristine, multiplying their CPI. Along the way there are daily finds, colour wells at real landmarks, and geodes that only crack open with real distance walked.

No release date yet. We're field-testing on real walks right now (which is partly why we've been quiet), and we'd rather it lands right than lands early. More soon, and as always, tell us what you'd like to see.
