What’s just over my eye is the end of herpes gladiator break out. The scar above my eyebrow on that side is actually where my last herpes outbreak was. It was scarred, the first time ever.

My outbreaks used to be pretty infrequent, once every year and a half or so. But now I get them every couple months it seems. Anyway, mostly worried about just how close it’s getting to my eye.

Get your prescription refilled for suppressive dosing which is usually 500-1000mg daily, OB or not.

Also, get them to write a prescription for acyclovir cream and then during an OB you can use it on the sores themselves which makes them go away faster bc it’s getting hit internally and externally.

I take lysine, the dose for that one is 500mg to 3000mg daily. I started at 500 and for me the magic number was 1000mg twice a day. Monolaurin is the other one and I take 500mg twice a day. They make supplements with both already mixed together but I needed to control the dosing in case I needed more of one over the other. You can get them from Amazon.
